At 19 kms from Tours, this village is situated on the right side of the Indre it was called TROIS at the time of Charlemagne. At the gates of  Cormery  Carolingians city which famous abbey was founded by  ITHIER abbot of  Saint Martin de Tours, Truyes has got the  privilege to offer a magnificent point of view on a diversify landscape : side of a river, undergrowth, valleys , slope and cluster of trees.
