Moulin municipal de Veigné (Veigné town mill) - Very well-restored, houses numerous associations. Beautiful, large mill wheel visible from the outside, lovely washing-place between the mill and bridge.

Château de la Belle Jonchère - Manor-house dating to the 16th-century.

Château de Couzières - Two towers, remnants of a 15th-century fortress; main residence dates back to the beginning of the 17th century. Here, in 1619, Mary of Medici was reconciled with her son, Louis XIII, in the presence of the cardinal of Richelieu.

Saint-Maixent church - Church tower and part of choir date from the 12th century. Stained-glass windows by Lobin (19th century).

Vieux Bourg or Old Town - Old priory adjoining the church to the north, the Matthew cross (at the corner of rue de la Martinière and rue de l'Égalité), and the Opera district (rue de l'Égalité, 15th to 17th-century houses).

Manoir de Beau Pré -  Lovely manor built ca. 1680.

Chapelle Saint-Laurent - 16th-century building next to a spring said to cure eye and ear ailments.
